I've read a few articles about airports this week I thought were interesting:
Airports start offering gadget-charging stations for travelers. I think this is a really smart idea and I'm surprised it wasn't thought of sooner.
Because people spend more and more time beyond security and within terminals, airports are stepping up their dining and shopping options. We've definitely started seeing higher-end chain restaurants (for ex: Rock Bottom and Ike's at MSP) and well-known retailers throughout airports.
The MSP Airport is considering adding a facility on-site for pet boarding and grooming. Again, another idea that makes a lot of sense. If you're a frequent traveler, who also owns a pet, wouldn't it be slick to drop off your pooch on your way into the airport? If a vendor can be found, look for something along these lines to open in March.
What do you think about these airport additions? What would you like to see at airports - or MSP specifically - that you can't find now?

Gadget-charging stations are great, but do people really have to work all the time?
How much email has to be read immediately?
Instead of cramming work into every spare minute, catch up on journals and magazines (you don't need a laptop for those and you can discard them when you're done), read a book that has nothing to do with your job, or even take a nap.

Thanks for your comment David. If one feels the need to work while traveling, reading up on journals is a great idea. But I agree with you, sometimes it's just as beneficial to sit back and enjoy the ride.
