Corporate Meetings & Incentives magazine came out earlier this month with its second annual list of “The CMI 25,” in which the editors list what they consider to be the North America's top 25 meeting and incentive companies focused on the corporate market. Of the 25, four are Minnesota-based, including Savage-based Advantage Performance Network, Edina-based BI, Plymouth-based Carlson Marketing Worldwide and Minneapolis-based MotivAction, LLC.
Only two other states—California and Illinois—had as many companies on the list as Minnesota. These 25 winners were chosen by various criteria each candidate submitted, but most weight was given to the company's total number of room nights booked and total number of corporate meetings and incentive travel programs. In all, 35 companies supplied information for consideration.
